So, while I should be reading for advertising or working on my script due Thursday, instead I have spent the last two hours either dressing up in random things, dancing around in my heels and putting on turquoise eye shadow. You know, sometimes, there is nothing more I want than to be completely and totally girly. I really feel at college it's not as easy to express yourself through style because people just look at you like "You really had that much time to get ready?" I purposely don't do my makeup before class because I look crazy if I walk up on campus with a full face of makeup... or I could get grouped in with those pesky soro-a-whores. No one wants that. So instead, I opt for a less effort look. Which is why I can't wait for reasons to really do my makeup. It's my cousin's 21st birthday this weekend, there is a dinner on Saturday. I think I may wear the turquoise shadow to that dinner. It's really bold. Also really gorgeous though. One of the best impulse buys I've had. I don't even know if you can buy the color anymore, but it's Cargo.. wow it's so old that the label is no longer readable so I can't even say what the color is called. I bought it senior year of high school just because I loved the color. Now it's fashionable, I love when stuff works that way.
I want to master a braid in my hair somehow for this weekend. They're so hippy retro. I think deep down I really am a flower child who is just all about love for everyone even thought it might seemed masked inside some angry bitch sometimes, ha. Honestly though, if I wouldn't be judged, I would love to wear loads of eyeliner/mascara with braids in my hair and leather headbands with some flowy top. Haha seriously, I should've been born earlier so I could've been around in the 60s/70s. That would've been awesome. Pull off the rocker/hippy vibe.

Cher totally would've been my inspiration. Just look at her pictures from the 60s/70s. I want to rock eyeliner like that, everyday. I know plastic surgery has made her look a tad crazy now and she's the diva to the gays... but wasn't she gorgeous?! I've always loved her, I even had a Sonny and Cher tape back in the day when tapes were cool.
